Philips SpeechLive Legal AI Assistant turns your dictation into finished legal document drafts. The Assistant listens, extracts the key facts and maps them into your own template - so you get a formatted first draft to review in minutes instead of waiting on transcription.

		Speech Recognition Legal A speech recognition engine tuned for legal language. It recognises legal terminology, case citations and phrasing that general engines routinely mis-transcribe, and performs reliably across multi-speaker hearings and noisy environments.
		Structured legal documents Speak once and get a structured document mapped to your template - not a raw transcript. The AI Assistant identifies the context and key facts and places them under the right heading in the right order.
		Multimodal input Combine the dictation with up to five attached files - correspondence, notes, PDFs and images. Supports .txt, .docx, .pdf, .jpeg, .png, .bmp and .heif. Only information relevant to the selected template is used.
		Custom templates on demand Describe the template you need in plain language and the AI Assistant builds the structure with the right sections and placeholders in seconds. Refine it manually or through the chat and save it to your personal library for reuse.
		Natural language editing Simply tell the Assistant to "shorten section 3" or "add a clause on liability" instead of formatting by hand. Edit in the editor or through the AI chat, with auto-saving. Also available in the SpeechLive Legal app for iOS.
		ISO, GDPR & EU AI Act ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 certified, GDPR compliant and aligned with the EU AI Act. Data is stored regionally on Microsoft Azure and is never used to train AI models.

How SpeechLive Legal AI Assistant works in three steps

1. Preparation and context
Set up the matter and upload the material the Assistant should work from: correspondence, file notes, witness notes, PDFs or images. Up to five files per document. The better the context you give it, the more complete the draft - and the less you have to copy and paste afterwards.

2. Dictate or upload audio
Record straight into the Assistant or upload an existing audio file. Speak naturally - no punctuation commands needed. Speech Recognition Legal makes sure legal terminology and citations come out right before the AI Assistant starts building the document.


3. AI draft, review and export
The Assistant maps the dictation and supporting material into your chosen template and delivers a formatted first draft. Edit it manually or in natural language, approve it yourself or send it to a typist in SpeechLive for the final check. Export to Word, PDF or text.

The Assistant runs in the browser and in the iOS app. You pick a template, record or upload, and get the draft in the same view where you edit it - manually or by talking to the AI chat.

SpeechLive Legal AI Assistant is built for the repeatable documentation - the kind that follows a stable structure but where the content changes from matter to matter.

Built on top of SpeechLive
The AI Assistant is a layer on top of the SpeechLive platform you already use. Dictations, transcripts, documents and tasks can be passed to a secretary or a pool of secretaries within the same subscription, who carry on working in SpeechLive with the same tools as before. Documents remain editable in both SpeechLive and SpeechLive Legal, so you keep the workflow you have and add AI documentation on top of it.

Certifications and data handling
Your client data is private to you. All SpeechLive data is stored regionally on Microsoft Azure servers to meet legal requirements, and is never used to train SpeechLive Legal, third-party models or other AI systems. AI-processed data is cleared automatically after processing, and deleted dictations can be recovered for up to 30 days.

What SpeechLive Legal AI Assistant is NOT
SpeechLive Legal is a tool that supports legal work - it does not replace it. AI-generated drafts must always be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before they are used, sent to a client or filed. Names, dates, citations and facts need to be checked against the source material, and the judgement of what is relevant and how the law applies is always yours. You stay in full control and can edit, approve or reject the AI's suggestions.

Please note! SpeechLive Legal AI Assistant requires a subscription to Philips SpeechLive Enterprise, 12 months. The price for SpeechLive Legal AI Assistant is per user and renews automatically together with your Philips SpeechLive subscription and for the same subscription period.

The price stated for this product applies if you have a 12-month Philips SpeechLive subscription; with a 24-month subscription the cost is doubled. If you have purchased Philips SpeechLive Enterprise, 3 months, SpeechLive Legal AI Assistant will still be billed per 12 months.
